On behalf of Harmony Baptist
Church, I would like to welcome you to our website. May God richly
bless you, as you begin to discover who we are. Harmony was founded
in 1870 and remains a stronghold for Christ in the Dawson County
community, still today. Our church is filled with both a rich
history, and a burning desire to fulfill the vision that God has set
before us.
Serving as the pastor since 2002,
I've been blessed to witness Harmony's steady growth and dedication
to the community. I assure you that Harmony is a place where you'll
find a loving congregation, who is sound in doctrine and worship. By
not compromising to the world, God has allowed Harmony to be a light
still shining brightly. Christ teaches us, in his word, to worship
in spirit and in truth. You'll find both at Harmony, and it will be
"food for your soul".
At Harmony, the congregation and I
have been shown a wonderful, heavenly vision. Thru Christ, we desire
to be obedient to this vision, and we would love for you to be a
part of it. We know with assurance that if you'll pray, God will
lead you to the flock where He would have you. Whether or not that
flock is at Harmony, we'll be praying for you and seeking God's
will. Harmony is a unique, traditional church full of growth and a
desire to reach out even further. Come see us, and we'll share with
you our vision and plans.
